The epitome of a pleasant ride! Just a cool video really.

So an evening in installing software, carrying out multiple OS updates to most things in the room and drinking my few remaining cans of 1664 I've ended up trawling Vimeo for a few old favorites and to find some amusement so I thought I'd share it.  They're all fairly short clips so if you've got a few minutes to kill...

Bike to the Beach from Mike Matas on Vimeo.

Check out this cool perpective of someones ride to the beach...

Charlotte Gainsbourg - Heaven Can Wait from Charlotte Gainsbourg on Vimeo.

WTF Rhino in the bath tub & Horse on the sofa, Becks involved what did you expect.

Beached from Keith Loutit on Vimeo.

Keith Loutit I think, has a wonderful new concept on an old mans hobby. Model making, this all has some incredible detail but is it real.

Colorama - Makeover from Upper First on Vimeo.

If you're a fan of this tilt-shift / time-shift video technique that's around, then here's something with a little twist.

How to Make a Baby from Cassidy Curtis on Vimeo.

It's the simple things! Watch it till the end, if this doesn't at least make you smile to yourself there's no hope.

Maidenhead Session from Craig Tull on Vimeo.

Fluid pocket rockets doing their stuff.

And now it seems that Vimeo has given up the ghost and won't play anymore for me, I'm off to bed.
Night All.

A longtime coming!

So the last few weeks have been rather busy and we now have a new lodger, this post was originally destined for this page a couple of weeks ago...
It all started early for a weekend, Wednesday night farntically packing trying to find my PADI Licence Card and other saundry pieces of needlessly necessary kit. Thursday afternoon in fact as I plucked a lucky wreck from the rack was when it all really started though (a very nice 2009 Norco Faze 2) which really desparately needed a bit of attention to the brakes.
Two sets of pads and fresh brake fluid bled through front and back and it was finally ready.

After breifly stopping in Leeds for the night and then gathering plenty of Diving Gear, we headed across the A65 tailing every caravan on the way each and everytime we managed to over take we got lost! And back to square one behind the very same caravans again.

Until we eventually reached this
.....The Lakes!

A litttle late but there none the less @
Capernwray Dive Site

After a long climb up an extremely windy 45degree hill a few hundrew meters we were finally at the top.
A strange barron evironment littered with rocks and horizontal trees
it provided some amazing technical riding.

In the end we just had to walk...
The gaps between the rocks did make excellent places to stand you bike!

Whilst you take a toilet break in the background...
I might have said I would say that!

Until in the end, we descended down some crazy steep sit on the back wheel type rocky descents.
We got down to our sighted destination, we'd spotted a disused quarry with a waterfall coming in from the road, we'd driven passed this previously to our overnight destination and back again in the morning but it was so low next to the road we'd never of seen it.

We found these old corroded chunks of old clunker some of which had got stuck under rocks...
I doubt this one would have been salvable, so we called it a day and headed back after all of a short ride in the dales...
Definately need to head back again soon, get in some proper epic riding maybe even take a tent...

Squeeze everthing back into the van with enough space for an extra stow away for a short transfer to another car and we were off back to Leeds...

The Dawn of a New Era...

So this is it and here I am. This is the start of a very interesting journey of expansion into the Wondrous Worldly Web, I hope you enjoy.

As you can see this is just the beginning and The 1st Post EVER! Soon you should see things springing to life in true Narnian fashion with good tales of fortunes grown from chunks of lamp-posts from other dimensions, or merely bicycles transformed from decaying debris into beautiful butterflies of the bicycle world.
